My name is Denys Pryvolnyev, I have been the Chief Engineer for the last 6 years, serving in the Offshore fleet, mostly on Dynamically Positioned Diesel-Electric Offshore Construction and Diving Support vessels. The marine engineering background also includes: RO-RO pax, dry cargo, bulk carrier, heavy lift vessels and container ships, where I served as the 3rd and the 2nd Engineer (First Assistant Engineer). There is an experience in managing (including dry-docking) of Ulstein design UT 745 E Offshore Multipurpose vessel ''Topaz Captain'', MT 6015 CD Offshore Multipurpose vessel “Dina Star”, which was operated that time in the Barents and Kara seas, MT 6012 Offshore Multipurpose vessel “African Vision”, VS 485 MPSV CD “Siddis Mariner”, which was operated that time in the Norwegian sea. --Experienced with fully integrated alarm, monitoring and power management systems. --Clean hull vessels experience with modern waste management systems, SCRs and heat recovery systems. --Experience in maintenance of K-POS Kongsberg/Rolls Royce DP Systems. --Experience in maintenance of Wartsila 8L20, 9L20 and 6L46 engines. --Strong experience with CPP and Azimuth propulsion. --Strong experience with RO plants up to 2x25 m3 per day. --Accommodation capacities from 80 till 120 pax. --Strong experience with air conditioning and provision plants maintenance and repair (including piping brazing, installation and commissioning of new units), both reciprocating and scroll type units. Basically, working in the Offshore: --The vessels were maintained in perfect operational condition, especially for Air Diving projects, as per Class, Client and project requirements. --Managed mixed crew engine teams of up to 8 persons. Safety standards as per the Oil industry were maintained. --Participated in daily progress meetings with Client reps onboard. --Projects participated in: Air Dive, ROV, W2W, Survey, IMR. Vessel mobilizations for different clients and projects. --Extensive experience with mid-speed engines: Wartsila 8L20, 9L20 and 6L46. --Extensive experience with high-speed engines: CAT 3512, 3516, C32 --Strong experience in hydraulics, anchor handling/towing winches, 4-point mooring systems, etc. --AHC cranes maintenance and troubleshooting skills are at a high level. MacGregor, TTS. --CPP, direct and diesel - electric propulsion (including tunnel, retractable and azimuth thrusters): Rolls Royce, Schottel, Wartsila. --DC and AC diesel - electric propulsion experience.
